Hastings never feels quite so quaint as it does during the Celebration of Lights. For me this is a celebration of not only the Christmas season but of small towns, tradition and most of all good, safe family fun!
Families and kids of all ages will pull out their scarves and mittens for the first time this year and will make their way to second street where they will find the beginnings of holiday cheer. The streets will be lined with all of the ingredients for Christmas fun including face painting, carollers and horse drawn rides.
Come and share the holiday spirit and the spirit of downtown Hastings on Thursday November 15 at 5 pm. I'll be there enjoying one of the many reasons that I call Hastings home.
