A new art gallery has opened in Hastings in the Strand Building on the corner of 2nd Street and Burlington Ave. The gallery displays the photographic work of Hastings resident Jorn Olsen.
This gallery is exciting for Hastings as it contributes to the arts culture already here. It is exciting for the state as his photographs capture many of the great aspects of our landscape and culture and finally it is exciting for Jorn as his hobby and passion turns into a career option. While photography has just been his hobby thus far, his images have been printed in over 17 foreign countries and in 15 plus publications including Men's Health Magazine and Digital Journalist.
